Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Tiny Owl observability platform (“Service”) provided by Net Partner 011 AB (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Tiny Owl is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) observability platform that enables development teams to:

• Ingest, store, and query application events via REST API and JavaScript SDK
• Monitor event volumes, severity levels, and trends via a web dashboard
• Manage multiple projects, API keys, and team members within an organisation
• Receive usage alerts and notifications

The Service is provided across four plans: Free (Observe), Starter (Insight), Pro (Command), and Enterprise. Plan availability, features, and limits are described in Section 6.

3. Accounts & Organisations

3.1 Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 Organisations

The Service is structured around organisations. Each organisation has one designated owner, and optionally team admins and members. Plans, billing, and usage limits are applied at the organisation level.

You agree to:

• Use a strong, unique password for your account
• Not share your credentials with others
• Notify us immediately at info@np011.se if you suspect unauthorised access
• Keep your project API keys and project secrets confidential

Project secrets are shown only once at creation or regeneration. We cannot retrieve them for you afterward.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to transmit malicious code, malware, or exploits
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or another user’s account
• Perform denial-of-service attacks or send automated requests that exceed reasonable use
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent
• Include sensitive personal data in event payloads without appropriate security controls
• Use the Service to log data belonging to individuals without appropriate notice or consent

5. API Keys & SDK Security

5.1 API Keys

Each project can have one or more API keys, depending on your plan. API keys are used to authenticate event ingestion requests. You are responsible for keeping API keys secure. You can revoke and regenerate API keys at any time from the dashboard.

5.2 HMAC Authentication

The Tiny Owl SDK uses HMAC-SHA256 request signing for event ingestion. Each request is signed with your project secret and includes a timestamp and a unique cryptographic nonce. HMAC verification requires:

• A valid x-signature, x-timestamp, and x-nonce header on each request
• The timestamp to be within 1 minute of server time
• Each nonce to be used only once within the validity window

6. Plans, Limits & Billing

6.4 Free Trials

Starter and Pro plans offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. Full plan features apply during the trial. Only one trial per plan per organisation. If no payment method is added before the trial ends, the organisation is automatically downgraded to the Free plan.

6.8 Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused subscription periods, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were incorrectly charged, contact us at info@np011.se within 30 days.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Net Partner 011 AB and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except as needed to use the Service as described.

You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the Service (“Customer Data”). By submitting Customer Data, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store it solely to provide the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Net Partner 011 AB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Stockholm, Sweden.
